In this guide, we will explain how to use static discount codes and unique discount codes (Shopify only) in Amped.

Using Static Discount Codes in Amped

  1. Open your campaign in Amped and locate the discount code element. Most templates will have one already, but you can add one if necessary.

  2. Double-click on the discount code text to edit it. For example, if the code is "welcome10", enter it directly in Amped.

  3. Ensure that the discount code is set up in your e-commerce platform.

Using Unique Discount Codes in Amped (Shopify only)

  1. In your Amped campaign, find the discount code element. Most templates will have one, but you can add one if needed.

  2. Click on the discount code element, and in the properties panel on the right side, you will find a dropdown menu to switch from a static discount code to a Shopify unique discount code.

  3. Click on the "Shopify" option in the properties panel and choose a discount configuration. If you haven't set one up yet, click the provided link to open a new window and create one. Note: You don't need to navigate to "Integrations" if you have clicked on "Create a new discount code configuration" from the dropdown menu.

Set up a new unique discount code configuration in from this form and save to make that configuration available from the Discount Code element in your Amped Campaign.

You can access the Shopify Unique Discount Code Configurations in Amped anytime by going to "Integrations" -> "Shopify Unique Discount Codes."

  4. Once the discount code configuration is complete, return to your Amped campaign.

  5. Click on the discount code element, and from the dropdown, make sure you'e in the Shopify Discount type and then select the newly created unique discount code configuration. If you don't see the new configuration, refresh the page.

  6. The unique discount code will now be displayed in a preview format in the editor you are working in. That means you're all set!

Now when a visitor reaches this step with the Discount Code element on it with your new Unique Code Configuration, a one-time unique discount code will be generated and shown to them in real-time.
